9M 60W Solar Streetlight Project For 8.7 Kilometers Of Urban Roads in N'Djamena

Project location:N'Djamena TCHAD

Project owner: TCHAD Government

Project quantity: 304 sets 9m 60w Solar Street Light

N'Djamena, the capital of Chad, is continuing to improve its urban road infrastructure. Due to long-standing issues such as severe road surface damage, potholes, and deteriorating traffic conditions during the rainy season, urban traffic safety and residents’ mobility have been adversely affected. Relevant development projects have prioritized road improvements, traffic safety, and urban resilience as key areas of focus.

Against this backdrop, Goldsun Solar is supporting local contractors by supplying 9-meter, 60W solar streetlight systems for an 8.7-kilometer urban road asphalt paving project in N'Djamena. By integrating road paving with nighttime lighting, the project further enhances the city's road infrastructure, providing a clearer and safer environment for nighttime travel for motor vehicles, non-motorized vehicles, and pedestrians.

Chad's power supply infrastructure is relatively limited, but the country is rich in solar resources, making solar lighting particularly suitable for urban roads, neighborhoods, and public areas. Goldsun Solar utilizes high-efficiency LED luminaires, solar panels, and smart control systems to harness abundant daytime solar energy and provide electricity for nighttime lighting. This eliminates the need to rely on complex grid connections, thereby reducing both construction and long-term operating costs.

For urban areas with complex road conditions and inadequate nighttime lighting, the "asphalt paving + solar streetlights" approach not only improves road accessibility but also helps enhance nighttime visibility and public safety. This 8.7-kilometer project will inject new momentum into N'Djamena's urban transportation improvements and green infrastructure development while also demonstrating the practical value of Goldsun Solar's commitment to supporting African urban development through clean energy.
