When it comes to Tanzania, the country is widely known for the Serengeti National Park and Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. As Goldsun Solar Company implements solar street light projects in Tanzania every year, we have also established a strong local reputation.

This project involved the installation of 506 solar street lights in the town of Masasi. The work began with repairing damaged road surfaces, ensuring that existing light poles remained in place, straightening tilted poles, and removing outdated traditional grid-connected street lights. Subsequently, 120w integrated solar street lights were installed on the existing poles, and traffic signals were added at road intersections. After installation, unified system debugging was conducted, and the project ultimately passed inspection by Tanzanian government officials.

Following the signing of the contract, the client dispatched engineers for on-site surveys to finalize project requirements, including the replacement of 132 damaged street lights, the installation of 374 new solar street lights, and the determination of traffic signal locations and quantities at intersections. After a four-month production cycle and transportation to Dar es Salaam, the client successfully completed installation and and passed government acceptance.
